You can call me Dee, or Mouse, or Sarah, whichever strikes your fancy. I'm both weirdly fascinated with reality and obsessed with fantasy - my favorite combination of the two is fantasy novels featuring a plague. Can't get enough of those. That is the ONE subject I am guaranteed to love, even if the story is written by a twelve year old - as long as they know their stuff.

As you can see, I have a bit of an obsession with epidemiology and pathology, respectively, the studies of epidemics and diseases. I'm not studying to be a doctor, though, but a nurse. Right now I'm in the practical nursing program, and it's tough.

I draw on and off in phases, write the same way, and sometimes even get into sculpture and photography, sewing, painting, crafts, even candlemaking. None but the first two make it online, though.

So I guess that's it. Hug?

While I'm sure anyone reading this is aware of the fact by now, I'd like to comment on the fact that I've done nothing but chainmaille recently. Yep. It has been acknowledged. :p Chainmaille is a wonderful form of art where your creations are limited only by your imagination - not bound by imperfect perceptions of anatomy and temperamental paints. Of course, once I get done with nursing school, I'm going to continue drawing - but right now, I'm enjoying this new medium.

In order to pay for supplies (and to have something to do with the things I make) I've opened an Etsy shop.

Why not pay me a visit?

I do creative stuff in cycles - I'll do nothing but draw for a while, then nothing but write, take a break for sculpture, or painting, then try out a new craft. Eventually I'll cycle back to drawing. :3
